Food Server

The Sinclair at Port Washington is seeking a dedicated Food Server to join our team at our beautiful senior living community. Serves meals to residents based upon the resident's prescribed dietary regimen and food allergies.

Pay: From $17.51 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Work Location: In person

Duties and Responsibilities

Serve meals to assigned section
Offer residents choices in their meal selection based upon their prescribed diet and personal preferences
Adhere to food protection principles
Clean up vases, salt and pepper, change tablecloths if necessary, chairs and chair legs
Fill condiments, salt and pepper, sweetener, etc.
Reset table for next meal and fold napkins
Special cleaning based on schedules (cups, coffee stations)
Must be able to lift 25 pound tray overhead
Other duties as assigned

Maintenance Technician

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and apartment renovation and upkeep, with a focus on delivering high-quality maintenance services to enhance the living experience of our residents.

Pay: $24 - $27 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in resident apartments, public areas, and building systems
Execute carpentry tasks including installation, repair, and renovations
Understanding of Plumbing & Electrical
Handle drywall installation, finishing, and demolition as needed
Paint walls and cabinetry to maintain a fresh and appealing aesthetic
Install and maintain various flooring types, including Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), tile, and carpeting
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure facilities are in good condition
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents

Qualifications

Proven experience in maintenance, renovation, or a similar role
Proficient in carpentry, drywall installation and finishing, and painting
Experience with flooring installation (LVT, tile, carpet) is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor

Flooring Installation Specialist

The Sinclair at Port Washington is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installation Specialist with experience in carpet installation, floor tile, backsplash, shower tile, and LVT (luxury vinyl tile) installation. This position plays a vital role in remodeling and enhancing our senior living community, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, safety, and aesthetic appeal in each project.

Pay: $30 - $33 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Install carpet, tile (floor and wall), backsplashes, shower tiles, and LVT flooring according to design specifications and industry standards
Assess work areas, measure accurately, and prepare surfaces to ensure proper installation and durability
Collaborate with project managers and designers to meet project timelines and specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
Identify and resolve installation issues promptly to uphold quality standards
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and request replacements or repairs as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in flooring installation, including carpet, tile, backsplash, shower tile, and LVT
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and installation instructions
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability
Good physical condition, able to work in various environments and on elevated surfaces
